Sunny & Taz are Yellow-Collared (aka Black-Masked) Lovebirds

They are a dynamic duo! Very fun and entertaining little birds. The are bonded, but do occasionally enjoy having the space of their larger cage to have some alone time (even though they seem to always huddle on the same perch). They spend their time eating and preening each other, singing along and mimicking household noises, and they love to talk to the jays and other birds outside. If you really want to get them dancing and partying, use your Google Home to play the sounds of jungle birds with water in the background! They love almost daring the other to take the first flight once it's time to come out to play. They typically will follow each other around from their "mom's" arm to their "dad's" head. They're very inquisitive and curious. They are very incentivized by millet and love being rewarded for flying across the room when called. They’re pretty step-up trained to a covered forearm or cloth covered perch. They love attention and make kissing and grunting sounds. They understand the word “No” pretty well and will comply with enough reinforcement and repetition. They can happily spend time inside or outside of their cage and make their humans chuckle regardless. They’re fairly tame but we're still working on getting comfortable with hands.
